Experience Epiphany Eve on Costa Dorada, with BusPlana

Epiphany Eve is approaching, one of the most awaited moments for the children and families, who travel to nearby towns to enjoy the best parades, with the arrival of the Three Wise Men. Year after year, many towns organise a very diverse Christmas programme that always includes this traditional route through the streets of the city.

The arrival of the Three Wise Men by sea, in Tarragona    

One of the towns best known on Costa Dorada and the capital of the province is Tarragona, which is already prepared for you to enjoy a parade filled with illusion and happiness.     

Tomorrow, Friday 5th of January, at 6:15 p.m., the Three Wise Men will arrive by sea at Pèrgola del Serrallo, an event that will be announced by the boats in the harbour and a magnificent firework display. Once on land, Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will meet the municipal council, who will greet them and give way to Gaspar's welcome speech.     

At the end of the speeches, fireworks will be set off, which can be seen from different parts of the city, as the starting signal for the traditional Three Wise Men parade. The route will start at Plaça dels Infants, with Carrer Reial, passing through Plaça dels Carros, Carrer Apodaca, Plaça de la Mitja Lluna, Carrer Unió; it will go around Rambla Nova twice; followed by Carrer Sant Agustí and Carrer Portalet, until it reaches Plaça de la Font, where the Three Kings will address a very emotional message to the children, and will receive, as is traditional, the Key to the City from the mayor, so that they can visit all the different houses in Tarragona.  

Vila-seca Castle, the star of Epiphany Eve celebrations    

Vila-seca decorates its castle, located at Carrer Comte de Sicart, 71, to receive the visit of the Three Wise Men. Tomorrow, Friday, 5th of January, the event in Vila-seca begins earlier than the other events, it will start at 5 p.m., with the parade of the royal messengers, they will take a walk through the different streets of the town, until they reach the castle.     

At 7 p.m., the audiovisual show and the greeting of Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will take place from the balcony of Vila-seca Castle. This will be followed by the parade of floats through the streets of the town to hand out gifts to the children.    

In La Pineda, this event will also be organised, with the live broadcast of the Vila-seca show in Parc del Pinar de Perruquet; and then, at 7:20 p.m., the Three Wise Men parade will begin, along Paseo de Pau Casals, Carrer Alfredo Kraus and Carrer Amadeu Vives , until it reaches the Municipal Sports Pavilion of La Pineda, where the gifts will be handed out to the children.  

Likewise, in La Plana, the Three Wise Men will arrive at 8 p.m., followed by the traditional parade, from Camí dels Morts and through the different streets of the neighbourhood, until they reach Plaça Sant Joan, where the Three Kings will be received.   

A parade for everyone in Salou    

Salou, the tourism capital of Costa Dorada, is once again organising its Three Wise Men parade this Friday, 5th of January, from 6 p.m. onwards. You can await the arrival of the Three Kings at the port, where they will arrive, accompanied by their entourage, and greet all the people attending. At Espigó del Moll, they will receive the Key to the City from the mayor, so that they can start the route with their floats and visit all the houses in the municipality to hand out presents.     

This is a colourful parade, full of floats, music and lights that you will never forget. The route will start at Espigó del Moll and will pass through the most emblematic streets of the centre, such as Carrer Barcelona, Via Roma, Carrer Ciutat de Reus, Carrer Comissió de Festes and Carrer Carles Roig, until it reaches Torre Vella. At the cultural centre, Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will give the gifts to the children of Salou.   

It should be noted that, so that all families can enjoy the parade, Carrer Comissió de Festes will be made noise-free, so that children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other special needs can enjoy this magnificent event in peace and quiet.    

Animation and hot chocolate in Cambrils    

Epiphany Eve is being experienced in a special way in the coastal town of Cambrils, with a wide variety of entertainment for the children. Tomorrow Friday, from 6 p.m., at Escales Reials del Mollet del Rec, you can enjoy children's entertainment while waiting for the arrival of the Three Wise Men. You will know when they are about to arrive, as they will be announced with fireworks.  

The parade will then begin, through the different streets of the town. The route will start at Moll de Cambrils, passing along Rambla Jaume I, Plaça Constitució, Passeig La Salle, Pont Raval de Gràcia and Avinguda Adelaida.    

At the same time, in Plaça de l’Ajuntament, there will be entertaining events and hot chocolate cups will be given to all the children who come to deliver their letter of wishes to the Three Wise Men. The parade will end at around 8:30 p.m. at the same square, where Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar will be welcomed after a long journey from the East, and where they will collect all the letters that the little ones have brought.   

It will not be until the following day, 6th of January, that the families of Cambrils will receive the presents from the Three Wise Men at their homes, starting at 9 a.m.
